This group will spend the two nights at the refuge “Lo Tsamou” on the Montbas mountain pasture, overlooking the valleys of Ambin and Etache.
Monday 29/06 : From St Pierre d’Extravache to the refuge Lo Tsamou
- Departure: Parking of St Pierre d’Extravache, route du Planay to Bramans (carpooling 20 km from the CIS).
- From the Chapel, balcony trail of the GR “Tour de la Maurienne”.
- In the forest of Montbas, we take to the right the trail coming from the Tuile which leads to the refuge..

Tuesday 30/06 : Round trip to Lake Liael
- From the refuge, path through the alp to the Plan de la Chasse.
- Then sustained ascent to the balcony trail.
- From the viewpoint at 2634m, descent to the lake.
- Return by the same route, possibly avoiding the yaw of Plan de la Chasse.
Wednesday 1/07 : Vallon de Bramanette and return.
- By a balcony trail in the forest, crossing over the Bramanette valley.
- Return to St Pierre d’Extravache through the refuge of Bramanette and Pré Maudru.
